A Better Way
A client came to us seeking to improve training and support inventory. As part of a Six Sigma project, he had been tasked with reducing costs, minimizing back orders and increasing overall efficiency. Our investigation discovered an incredibly complex ordering system that required multiple vendors, many different types of materials, varying lead times, different minimum orders and multiple payment methods. By assuming management of the entire project, we streamlined the process, reduced lead times, decreased freight costs and increased
revenue across the board.
